Walkthrough
Accept the quest from Tamsin before completing its objectives. Return to the quest giver to advance each stage and claim the final reward. Item objectives require the items in your inventory.
1. A name in the margins
Tamsin recognises her mother's handwriting on the broken seal. She asks you to find the caravan recipe beside the western road before the rain takes it.
- Read the caravan recipe west of Hearthwick · 1 × recipe
2. A meal worth remembering
No treasure went missing. The caravan stopped to feed refugees, and Tamsin's mother stayed with them. Recreate her meal: roast two portions of game meat at the Copper Kettle and bring two dawnleaf herbs.
- Roast game meat at the range · 2 × Roast game meat
- Bring 2 × Dawnleaf
3. An empty chair
Tamsin sets a place for her mother every autumn. This year, should the meal honour her privately, or feed the travellers still arriving at Hearthwick?
- Bring 2 × Roast game meat
Choices and endings (spoilers)
- Keep a place for her mother: Tamsin leaves a candle beside the empty chair. The recipe stays in her family.
- Share the meal with travellers: The Kettle opens its doors to strangers. Tamsin writes another thank-you into the recipe.
