Walkthrough
Accept the quest from Torven before completing its objectives. Return to the quest giver to advance each stage and claim the final reward. Item objectives require the items in your inventory.
1. Listen to the mountain
Read the old survey beyond the deepstone workings. Torven has found promising iron, but the survey warns against cutting the supports.

2. A support worth trusting
Smelt three steel bars yourself and bring them with three iron ore. The ridge needs supports made to last, not weapons made to sell.
3. Open the road
Defeat three ridge trolls at the crags. Choose who will care for the reinforced road.

Choices and endings (spoilers)
- Give the road to the quarry crews: The crews maintain the supports, and every shift returns to the survey house.
- Keep the road open to travellers: A public road crosses the ridge. Torven leaves the survey where every traveller can read it.
